I'll give you a hand, lend me your ear.
Hi,
We've been meaning to do this since a while ... introductions are quite unnecessary, chodo.
This weeks teacher, sensei, guru (whatever floats your boat) is: ANDY RISTAINO

He's an uber polite artist that worked on "Adventure Time" on Netflix and creates fun characters - found him via Coursera which is one of the best teachers I've learnt from in a while. No credits to the Indian Education System.
MUSIC FOR THIS WEEK
Fused playlist with some old school baddies
and just some fun songs to pep you up by my personal favorites:
1. Quarantine with B
2. Goodmorning by Coubo
3. Hindi Mellow
PODCAST THIS WEEK
Have to start with the reason I got into podcasting i.e Sam Harris
The man bends your mind in such ways, he urges you to think beyond your current notions of the world.

A mindmap to one of his podcasts.
IN OTHER RELATABLE CONTENT:

Creates Hinglish content that makes you go "MOOD"
ARTWORK HUB:
COVID Art Museum
Recently found out about this and it's collating art from all over the world and showcasing it like a virtual museum. The art is predominantly created during the quarantine.
The Alipore Post
You'll find original poems, poems according to your mood and archives from the recently completed NaNoWriMo i.e. National Poetry Writing Month (who would've thunk right?)
Rixi Bhatia
Fashion Designer, Art Enthusiast and a generally cool person is sharing artworks from around the world that have a positive, feel happy and comforting outlook towards life.
TooSid
Renaissance style paintings and mix medium art (using digital Softwares, old paintings, new styles mashed together) For more topical and worldly update type work. More on the grunge side, his witty captions always rake up a chuckle.
Instagram's weekly curation of new creators to follow actually has some gems, introduces me to a whole lot of fun and 'timepass' people. Reference from Kanan Gill's new standup named 'Yours Sincerely' - kinda funny but attempting to have hard-hitting undertones. Reminded me of George Calin's standup on "Language" worth a watch if you get butthurt by crass language easily.
FUNNI TINGS:
Zakir Khan - Kaksha Gyaarvi: An oldie but goldie, breaking down masculinity and his interpretation of it whilst making you fall off your seat (Hindi) (Amazon Prime & Youtube)
Daniel Sloss - Jigsaw: Again oldie but oh oh oh will it fuck you up! (Netflix & Youtube)
Moar meme relatable content?

Comic for today:

MIND RAMBLING

I want to say something about how you can make yourself feel better if you're drowning in existential mud and sorrow or loneliness but the reality is you've got to do what you can, cope, distract, create, laze, drink, vegetate but stay afloat. If you've to move one inch today, let it be one inch away from the worst of your thoughts.
Write to me baby, I'm all ears #HaanjiAurBatao
#LearnNewThingsEveryday
Peace.
(autocorrect saved me from sounding illiterate heh)
